Who We Are

YEACEAD Project

YEAC Community Energy and Development Ltd/GTE (YEAC-CEAD) is a non-profit, community-focused organisation dedicated to advancing clean, renewable, and sustainable energy solutions across Nigeria. Registered as a Company Limited by Guarantee under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA 2020), YEAC-CEAD serves as a driver of grassroots energy transformation, climate awareness, and evidence-based renewable-energy education. We work directly with underserved and off-grid communities, supporting them with knowledge, practical tools, and clean-energy options that improve livelihoods, reduce energy poverty, and empower households to embrace safer and more sustainable alternatives. Our approach integrates community education, research, advocacy, and the promotion of productive uses of solar and other renewable energy technologies. With a core mandate to raise awareness and strengthen access to clean energy, YEAC-CEAD continues to build partnerships that create long-lasting social and environmental impact across Nigeria

We operate at the intersection of environmental advocacy, renewable energy interventions, and youth development—helping communities adapt to climate change while advancing long-term, people-centered solutions.
